If you rent a bike in Edam, you will naturally want to get to know the village itself a little better. Edam is a cheerful village with cosy houses, narrow alleys and small canals. This authentic village has a nice shopping street and a beautiful Grote Kerk that you can visit. You will also find the Edam Cheese Market every Wednesday in summer and you can visit the Edam Museum. Cycling to Volendam, Monnickendam and Marken
If you rent a bike in Edam, you can of course cycle in all directions, but probably the places Volendam, Marken and Monnickendam are the most fun to visit. From Edam, Volendam is three kilometres away, Marken is fairly close by and you can visit via a half-hour boat trip, your bike can come along on the boat. If you also want to visit Monnickendam, you can take a round trip that takes a bit longer, but offers very beautiful scenery and some special sights. To make a reservation, follow these steps:
- Select the number of days you want to rent the bike
- Select the number of persons (minimum 8 vehicles)
- Select the start date
- If necessary, you can add child seats
- Select your accommodation
- Complete the booking by entering your details and making payment
We will bring the bikes to your accommodation between 09:30 - 10:30 am. The vehicles will be collected again the next morning (after booking) between 09:30 - 10:30.
