If you want to fully and carefree enjoy a wonderful bike ride, then this package is ideal for you. This package includes renting a bike for the entire day, a delicious lunch in Monnickendam and a visit to a photo studio for a photo in Volendam costume.

Bicycle rental for a nice bike ride

At Rent & Event, we have fine cycling routes of the area. Our 2 most popular routes are as follows:

Route 1 Waterland 22km

Start in Volendam and then cycle to Monnickendam via Katwoude. Here you can enjoy a tasty lunch. Next, get on your bike to pedal towards picturesque Broek in Waterland via Overleek. This village is breathtaking and is in the top 5 most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. Next, you set course towards Zuiderwoude and then pedal again towards Volendam.

Route 2 Marken 20km

On route 2, you will also cycle to Monnickendam and then have lunch there. From there, you will depart over the dike to Marken. On this former island, it is worthwhile to cycle to the lighthouse "the horse of Marken". From Marken, you have the option of cycling back, or taking the Marken Express boat back to Volendam.
