Vacancy shop assistant
Rent & Event is an energetic and dynamic company specialising in the organisation of events in and around beautiful Volendam. At Rent & Event, we provide the best hours, days or weekends out for a wide variety of target groups. We welcome people from all over the world, from young to old, as individuals and in large groups. We organise outings for our visitors that include various activities, tastings, walking, cycling and/or boat trips. These outings take place in Volendam and its surroundings.
This new colleague will perform the following work:
- Welcoming, advising and assisting customers in one of our shops.
- Being able to enthusiastically offer our products and thinking along about a fun daytime activity focused on the client's wishes.
- Being able to clearly explain the operation of our vehicles, the possible routes and the best stops along the way.
- Accurately recording rental contracts.
- Properly tracking damages to our vehicles and performing simple technical work.
- Accurately resolving any complaints to ensure every customer leaves with a big smile.
Within the Rent & Event team, we are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- You are extremely customer-friendly, patient and thoughtful.
- You are highly motivated, enthusiastic and optimistic.
- You are communicative, not shy and enjoy working within a team.
- You are stress-resistant and can improvise well.
- You are responsible, reliable and can work accurately.
- You are flexible and can work weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
- You can speak both Dutch and English well. Speaking other languages is a plus!
